Hello There!

Welcome to my little corner on the web! My name is Lona and I am the gal behind the camera of Lona Jones Photography. So you want to know about me huh.... Let's see where do I begin? I am a Southern California native, a mother of 3 adorable little fire crackers (I call Teagan, Lion and Asher), a Chef's wife and a lover of CHEESE! I love Superhero movies, Grey's Anatomy, and a good Netflix binge. 

I hate to admit to being a cliche, but I am. My journey into the world of photography began when I welcomed my beautiful baby girl into the world and wanted to document every moment of her being. Dorothea Lang once said, "Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still." Every time I pick up my camera my goal is to capture the essence of who you are in that moment, so that when you look at your photographs years from now you can not only remember who were in that moment, but feel it as well. I like to think that I am a story teller of souls.
